Tesla Releases Intelligent Tire Sensors – Cerebrum Sensor

Tesla Releases Intelligent Tire Sensors

In 2022, we announced the upcoming release of Cerebrum's newest intelligent tire sensor, the OEM sensor. This sensor was developed in collaboration with and for top passenger vehicle and tire manufacturers, specifically to fit within the rubber mounting sleeves and integrated into tires from the factory.

With the release of the Cybertruck and Plaid vehicle models, Tesla is formally the first OEM to offer tire sensors as a factory product.  More information can be found here. The current models still offer traditional valve-mounted TPMS plus the new Bluetooth tire sensors.

After a year+ in the market, Tesla owners are now ready to change tires but only the factory OE tires offer mounting pockets to move these specialty sensors.  We're excited to now offer replacement Rubber Mounting Pockets to enable Tesla owners to move tire sensors from the factory Goodyear OE tire to an aftermarket tire.
